FISHING
Croton Township Campground is nestled along the shoreline of Croton Dam Pond in Newaygo County, a 1,380-acre impoundment of the Muskegon River, offering outstanding fishing opportunities for a variety of species. It’s a favorite destination for boating, fishing, ice fishing, and year-round outdoor recreation.
Fishing Highlights:
~Popular Species: Smallmouth bass, walleye, northern pike, crappie, bluegill, perch, and rock bass.
~Depth: Maximum depth of 40 feet.
Below the dam is easily accessible, just a short drive, and is host to salmon, trout and more.
